So I've been wanting to finish my Wonder Woman illustration for a while but just haven't been happy with the approach. Recently I've been on 80's movies overload and in one of them there was an image from the late great Patrick Nagel. As soon as I seen it I knew that I would re do the image in the style of Patrick

This mesh was fairly low resolution apart from the "bowl" which needed a higher poly count for the collision detection with the skateboards. For the textures there were 5 in total. 1-128x1024 texture sheet that took care of all the props\sky and some of the environment geometry, 3 textures were 128x128 for the shrubs and bricks, and the background buildings had a whopping 256x512 texture....big, I know.

I was creative lead on this project as well as 3d lead. I took care of the modeling and some of the 3d animation, Motion graphics were taken care of by a good friend of mine, Jeremy Johnson and my self. 3d multipass renders were taken care of by Sylvain demers and Pascal aupry. Other 3d animation was taken care of by Marc Andre Gray and Russ klauwitter. I then composited everything in AfterEffects.

So This Spongebob 3D model was created for and approved by Nickelodeon for a game that unfortunately never reached the light of day. I was lucky enough to have been the only 3d and texture artist on this game.

So I spent a few hours working on Wonder woman's crown but it just wasn't working out at all. So I decided to try a quickie in lightwave to see how it would turn out. This is the result. It took about an hour to model, light tweak material settings and render.
